NYB Parent, Player & Coach Code of Ethics

Noblesville Youth Baseball (NYB) thrives on sportsmanship, respect, and positive conduct. To ensure a healthy environment for all participants, we have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior.

All NYB Parents, Players, and Coaches agree to:

  • Respect the Game: Honor the spirit of fair play, uphold the rules, and respect umpires, coaches, opposing players, and fellow teammates.
  • Respect Others: Refrain from any form of verbal or physical abuse, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination towards anyone involved in NYB.
  • Maintain Positive Conduct: Display good sportsmanship at all times, win or lose. Avoid the use of profanity, offensive language, and any actions that detract from a positive atmosphere.
  • Support a Safe Environment: Promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all NYB participants by adhering to league rules and guidelines. Report any concerns regarding safety or inappropriate behavior to NYB officials.

Consequences of Inappropriate Behavior:

Any violation of this NYB Code of Ethics may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to and in no formal order:

  • Verbal warnings
  • Game ejections
  • Suspension from games
  • Removal from NYB

NYB is committed to providing a positive and enriching baseball experience for everyone. Adherence to this Code of Ethics is essential for the success of our league.
