The Noblesville Youth Baseball Travel Program is committed to developing talented young men with a passion for baseball. As an extension of the Miller Baseball Program, each player and coach will be pushed to achieve excellence on and off the field through first class instruction and support. While demanding commitment and denying selfishness, all players and coaches will be expected to work to improve everyday while putting the team before themselves.
Overview
The Development Council (DC) is the development, evaluation, and accountability arm of the NYB Travel Program for ages 8 – 12. The DC will conduct the selection process for both the players and coaches. Each councilman has considerable playing experience, along with valuable coaching experience. The DC’s objective is to use their perspective and insight to teach coaches and train Noblesville players in a positive and fun environment. Committed to the development of each player, the DC will make decisions in order of program, team, individual. No other travel program can offer the collective experience while instilling “The Miller Way.” A standards-based curriculum will be installed in order to lead each player and team on a path of reaching their potential.
Leadership
Justin Keever
Entering his 23rd year (22nd season) as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Noblesville High School, Coach Keever serves as the Development Council Director and sets the vision and direction of player and coach development for the NYB program. Injecting “Millerball” in terms of fundamentals, philosophy, and terminology will then allow the Development Council to educate players and coaches throughout the program further. Paying special attention to coach development, Coach Keever hosts “Coaches’ Corners” to educate and instruct coaches on the program’s values and best practices.
Under Coach Keever’s leadership, in addition to the 2014 Indiana 4A State Championship, the Millers have won 6 Hoosier Crossroads Conference (HCC) Championships, 4 Sectional Championships, and 3 Regional Championships. Noblesville has the best overall conference record during his time, and Keever has been voted HCC Coach of the Year (5x), District K Coach of the Year (2x), and 2014 Indiana High School State Coach of the Year. Keever has also served a term as the IHSBCA (Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association) President.
Before starting his Noblesville career, Coach Keever was an assistant coach at Avon High School. Collegiately, he was a two-year starter at SS/1B at Butler University, where he set the single-season batting average in 1999, earned the team’s Most Outstanding Offensive Performer award, and was twice selected to the MCC All-Tournament Team, helping the Bulldogs to 3 Conference championships and a trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Coach Keever currently teaches mathematics at Noblesville High School and resides in Noblesville with his wife Nikki, children Eagan, Dylan, and Reagan.
Charlie Hagelskamp
Charlie has served on the Travel Council for 8+ years and currently runs the day to day operations of the Travel Council along with Eric Osborn. Coach Hagelskamp spent four years as a head coach and 2 years as an assistant in the NYB Millers travel organization. He also spent 2 years as a head coach in the Indy Titans organization at the 13U and 14U level where he also served on the Board of Directors. Charlie is also currently an assistant coach for Northview Middle School baseball. Previously, he served as a varsity assistant football coach at Bishop Chatard High School. During his playing days, Charlie was a three-year letter winner at Bishop Chatard High School where they twice won the Regional Championship in baseball. He also was a 2-way player for their 1997 State Championship football team. Charlie currently works as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Avaya and lives in Noblesville with his wife Beth, son Luke, and daughters Lyla and Emma.
Eric Osborn
Eric has served on the Travel Council for 6 years. Coach Osborn spent seven years as a varsity assistant baseball coach at Fishers High School where he worked as the hitting and infield coach for the entire program. Eric came to Fishers after spending two years coaching collegiately at Valparaiso University and Indiana Tech primarily working with catchers, outfielders, and hitters while serving as 3rd base coach. Coach Osborn also assisted with recruiting and organizing/running baseball camps. He also spent one season as an undergraduate assistant coach at Purdue University assisting with day-to-day operations of the baseball program and worked with infielders, baserunners and hitters. A 2003 Hamilton Southeastern High School graduate with four varsity letters in baseball, Eric was named All-State in 2002 while also being selected a 2003 Indiana North/South All-Star. He went on to become a four-year starter at 2B for Purdue University where he was twice named Academic All-Big Ten. A 2007 Purdue graduate (management with a minor in marketing), Eric currently works at Sportz Stitch Holdings/ D1Sportz and lives in Noblesville with his wife Molly, twins MJ and Kylie, and youngest Tucker.

Kevin Milam
Kevin has served NYB for the past 16+ years as a travel head coach (six years), board member, and Development Council member. Previously, Coach Milam spent three years as an American Legion assistant coach in Illinois and Missouri as well as four years of travel baseball (14U – 16U) in Illinois. During his playing days, Kevin was a three-year letter winner Mattoon H.S. (IL) (1991 Big 12 Conference Champions; won 2 Regional Championships), two-year starter Lincoln Land CC (All Region 24 performer and 1993 NJCAA World Series), and one-year at Illinois State University. Currently a Sr. Account Executive with Abbvie, Kevin lives in Noblesville with his wife Kelly and two children Max and Claire.
Jeremy Hochstedler
A current head coach in the NYB Millers travel organization, Coach Hochstedler previously spent five years as a varsity assistant at Manchester University and Homestead High School. Jeremy has four years MLB front office experience (R&D, Analytics, and Scouting) with the Milwaukee Brewers and Boston Red Sox as he was heavily involved in scouting meetings, trade deadlines, draft day decisions, catcher defense evaluation, and pitch optimization. A 2002 Noblesville High School graduate with three varsity letters in baseball, Jeremy helped lead the Millers to the 2001 Sectional Championship while being voted by teammates (3x) as the team’s “Most Dedicated Player.” Collegiately, he was a two-year baseball starter at C/3B at Rose-Hulman where he was a Team Captain, Co-MVP, & 1st Team HCAC All-Conference player. Recognized as the school’s 2006 Sam F. Hulbert Award Winner for the student-athlete who “most exemplifies leadership, sportsmanship, & determination to succeed.” Professionally, Jeremy is the Founder and CEO of Telemetry Sports, a sports analytics/data company that serves more than 500 NCAA baseball programs and 25 NFL organizations. Jeremy lives in Noblesville with his wife Amy and four children Grady, Tyler, Molly, and Lucas.
Matt Jensen
A lifelong Noblesville resident, Coach Jensen was born and raised in Noblesville and has a deep appreciation for the community and youth sports programs that helped shape his own experiences. He has spent the past 10 years coaching youth athletics, including seven years in travel baseball, and is committed to helping young athletes develop both on and off the field. In addition to baseball, Matt has also coached youth basketball through the Noblesville MBA program, further demonstrating his passion for mentoring and developing young athletes.
Matt believes sports provide invaluable life lessons in leadership, accountability, perseverance, and teamwork. His coaching philosophy centers on player development, character, sportsmanship, and creating a positive environment where athletes can grow, compete, and build confidence.
Professionally, Matt serves as a Sales Manager, where he leads teams focused on business development, customer relationships, and strategic growth. He brings the same leadership principles from the business world to the field, emphasizing preparation, communication, teamwork, and integrity.
As a lifelong member of the Noblesville community, Matt takes great pride in giving back to the town that has meant so much to him and his family. Matt and his wife, Carrie, are proud to be raising their three sons, Connor, Eli, and Brody, in Noblesville and enjoy supporting them in their athletic and academic pursuits. The Jensen family remains actively involved in local youth sports and is passionate about creating positive experiences for the next generation of Millers.
Kevin Sears
A lifelong Noblesville resident, Kevin Sears enters his first year on the Travel Council. Kevin grew up playing in the NYB Travel Program at the Field of Dreams for the then-Noblesville Heat before going on to play for Coach Justin Keever at Noblesville High School, graduating in 2009. He continued his career at Hanover College, graduating in 2013 as a three-time All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference selection and two-time team captain.
Kevin brings 8 years of coaching experience to the role, having previously served as a JV coach at Noblesville High School under Coach Justin Keever, an assistant coach for 13U and 14U Millers Travel teams, and an assistant coach for 12U and 13U Indiana Mustangs teams.
Kevin's family is entering their 5th year with NYB. He is entering his 2nd season coaching Travel Ball alongside his oldest son, Tucker, and his 1st season as a head coach.
Kevin believes that in today's competitive youth travel sports landscape, what makes NYB special is the chance to represent a community like Noblesville alongside teammates who will stay together through high school. Nothing in his own baseball career compared to wearing the N on his hat and Millers across his chest.
Professionally, Kevin is the Director of Business Development at DB Engineering, a civil engineering firm. He lives in downtown Noblesville with his wife, Kelsey, and their three children, Tucker, Archie, and Winnie.
